UFC Fight Tonight: Is there a UFC card on Saturday, October 26, 2024?

The UFC is headed to the Etihad Arena in Yas Island, United Arab Emirates on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024 (U.S. time) for its upcoming pay-per-view event, UFC 308: Topuria vs. Holloway.

The card will feature an interesting featherweight title showdown and a string of other thrilling battles involving top contenders and prospects across different weight classes.

In the main event of UFC 308, reigning 145-pound champ Ilia Topuria will put his title on the line against former titleholder Max Holloway.

Topuria captured the featherweight gold earlier this year with a vicious second-round knockout of Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 298.

'El Matador' will be eyeing his first successful title defense and hope to push his record to a perfect 16-0 when he faces the Hawaiian this weekend.

Holloway, meanwhile, moved up to lightweight for the second time in his UFC career and scored an emphatic last-second knockout win over Justin Gaethje at UFC 300. 'Blessed' won the symbolic BMF title with that performance and now looks to reclaim the UFC featherweight crown.

Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker will also feature on Saturday's pay-per-view card as he takes on undefeated standout Khamzat Chimaev in the co-main event.

The two were originally set to square off earlier this year, but Chimaev was forced to pull out due to an illness. 'Bobby Knuckles', instead, took on late replacement Ikram Aliskerov and delivered a first-round highlight-reel knockout to pick up his second straight victory.

'Borz', on the other hand, will enter this fight hoping to build on his majority decision victory over Kamaru Usman last year. Chimaev will look to keep his unblemished record intact and stake his claim for a title shot with a statement performance.

In another intriguing matchup, No.2-ranked light heavyweight contender Magomed Ankalaev will take on No.5-ranked Aleksandar Rakic.

Also on the card, Lerone Murphy will square off against Dan Ige in a battle of featherweights.

To kick off the UFC 308 main card, Shara Magomedov will go head-to-head with Armen Petrosyan in a middleweight contest.
